Degree in Law and Political Science from the University of Panama (1971).

Studies in Business Administration at University Santa María La Antigua (1977).

Representative before the Board of the Faculty of Law and Political Science (1969) and before the Board of Directors (1970) of the University of Panama.

Deputy Minister and Minister in charge of Labor and Social Welfare (1989 - 1991).

Deputy Minister and Minister in charge of Treasury (1992 - 1993).

Founder, former Director and Dignitary and currently Legal Advisor of the Stock Exchange of Panama (BVP), the Central and Security Settlement (LATINCLEAR), and the Commodities Exchange (BAISA), and Fitch Central America.
-
Director of the newspaper La Prensa (2001 - 2002).
