  • Representative before the Board of the Faculty of Law and Political Science (1969) and before the Board of Directors (1970) of the University of Panama.

  • Deputy Minister and Minister in charge of Labor and Social Welfare (1989 - 1991).

  • Deputy Minister and Minister in charge of Treasury            (1992 - 1993).

  • Founder, former Director and Dignitary and currently Legal Advisor of the Stock Exchange of Panama (BVP), the Central and Security Settlement (LATINCLEAR), and the Commodities Exchange (BAISA), and Fitch Central America.

  • Director of the newspaper La Prensa (2001 - 2002).
